Analysis of Buckling Characteristics and Parameter Influence of Composite Thin-walled Lenticular Boom Structures

The stretchable composite thin-walled lenticular boom can be used in the unfolding process of a large spacecraft structure, and its buckling characteristic is one focuses structural design. In this paper, firstly, critical load formula derived based on Euler’s laminated theory for axial compression problem boom, verified by finite element method. Secondly, influence law section layer parameters quantitatively analyzed. results show that generally undergoes first-order outer direction symmetrical bonding surface. most significantly affected radius convex arc, followed center ordinate thickness layer, angle layer.
